Outcome
- As predicted, negotiations have been delayed, several deadlines have passed and the last 3 months of 2020 have been characterised by constant back and forth, with mutual threats.
- As predicted, there was financial pressure from the UK (and from the EU).
- It was tough but was ultimately consummated, although that was not always so clear in between.
- As predicted, hard Brexit - with agreement but different than originally proclaimed.
